After turning my project down to a quarter of a inch I noticed 2 rings had slight separation. One ring pops out the next ring pops in about 0.005. This is 2 different areas so there are 4 rings 2 seems in issue. I think this happened in my haste to turn it after just 6 hours of dry glue time. I only turned the outside down, and it was .750 thick material, but I will never do that again. I already have a few coats of danish oil on the african mahogany. Can I flood the seems with ca glue let it dry and sand it smooth. I think if I clamp it in side and outside, it will just separate again. You cannot see any daylight thru the seems, so I think wood glue wood not flow into the center, or adhere to the oil. Also if I just sand smooth like it is will it continue to separate. I am thinking I am just going to have to do the hole project over as a lesson to let the glue dry!
