• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

Very nice, Mike. On your thin strips of alternating species, do you make this a thick ring and then part off a slice after gluing it to the bowl or do you make them as thin rings?

In this bowl, the thin rings (1/8th inch) were individually made.

I have tried making thicker half rings and bandsaw in half to make two. I have also made thicker rings and parted them off on the lathe. imo, it was just as much work as making thin rings.

I agree completely, Mike. It seems to me that there should be a a better solution for this and I'm going to see if some research turns up anything.
