• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

It is not missing. It is no longer active in 3D Design Pro

"I removed the grid a long time ago and here are the reasons - first, it added almost no value. Bowls aren't typically made with straight lines. But the big thing is that the control I used to draw the grid also interacted with the dots. If you had drawn dots and then turned on the grid, you couldn't use the Move tool to move a dot unless that dot was added when the grid was on because then the dot would be forced to be on one of the grid lines. This caused no end of grief to users so removing the grid seldom-used grid feature was a no brainer. I intended to go back and replace the video but it never got to the top of the list."

If you are ever watching a video tutorial and it shows something that is not on your user interface, it means that the video tutorial was made from an earlier version. Whenever I can simplify the user interface I do so without removing functionality unless it adds no value, as is the case with the grid.

I also do this from time-to-time to simplify the software code. Its complexity means that if I return to the code after not working on it for some time, I’m likely to make a simple change that ends up breaking other things in the code. Keeping it simple helps an aging programmer like me. :-0

I wish I had unlimited time to update the video tutorials but sadly, that isn’t the case. Now that I’ve retired, I hope to have more time. I will replace that tutorial because it raises questions about the grid that I have to answer even though it a topic of the tutorial.
