    Hi gang,
I'm the high school woods instructor at North Salem High School and I'm excited to add Woodturner Pro software products to the list of educational resources for our students. We have a strong woodworking program already going but this will certainly help build the skills and passion of our students. Thanks in advance for any and all support I may get from this forum, I know it will be a fun journey.

I am particularly pleased that you have chosen to join our community and I hope that some of your students will as well. It is our goal to reach out to the younger generation and everyone here will be as helpful as possible in giving advice and inspiration.

If there’s a chance that I could visit your school, I’d love to show them what they can do as beginners and what is possible if they use technology that is already available to them and ingenuity and creativity which, at their age, is boundless.

Hi Andy, retired Industrial Arts teacher here, class of '73 UW Stout.
If there is anything I can help you with, all you have to do is ask. I know how tough the job can be.
There is a lot of talent here and EVERYONE is willing to help, so any question please ask.

Andy, after you get thru the videos on the software, and Lloyd does a great job breaking it down. Go over to the Follow along Project, this is a very unique section of the forum, where members of the forum will document their project from design to finish with all the good stuff, errors, miss steps, good choices, back choices and catastrophes. Can be enjoyable reading

Andy, great to have a teacher onboard. It wouldn't be such a bad idea to encourage interested students to join the forum so they can explore for themselves too. Young people who like to make things tend to be pretty creative. Maybe a benefit for the both the young and the old.

Welcome Andy. Good to see there are still schools that teach woodworking. As everyone else has said, this is a great forum full of great people.
