1.93" high by 1.25" wide. Made with Maple, Bloodwood, Chatka Viga, and Ebony. There are 31 rows with 48 segments per row. Each row is 1/16" high.

That is just amazing! I know it's harder to turn a 1" tall piece than a 10" one but to do it in segments (48 segment rows and patterned, no less) just takes it out of the park. Congratulations doesn't say it strongly enough.
 
Wow. What a great piece. Still trying to wrap my head around the SEL of some of the segments.
Wonder if the segments were hand cut, table saw, bandsaw?

How did you cut such small thin segments?

Yes ! Enquiring minds want to know how one goes about cutting such small pieces to unbelievable micro dimensions.. Perhaps the secret is the saw technique perfected by leprechauns on their machines..
I cut them just like I cut all segments on my table saw using a wedgie sled. There is more waste, but the pieces are small so that limits amount of waste.
