I love it when the turning itself is the centerpiece, not an elaborate painting. Not always, but this vase is a perfect example of that. You nailed the shape.

@Lloyd Johnson Thanks for the comment, that was exactly how I was feeling when I decided to create his vase. I feel the construction technique results in a surface interesting in and of itself, compounded by a overall shape taken from nature results in a very interesting piece. I heard a new phase (to me) this week that sums it up, Don't Gild the Lily.
