• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

Why am I surprised every time?

Am I the only one who is still amazed every time a ring lines up perfectly?
Wish mine came out like that all the time. lol.

For me it seems so many things can go wrong to throw off a ring. Especially when you get into 36 or 48 segments per ring.

After years of making rings from half-rings, it is so very nice to be able to cut the segments on my wedgie sled, glue them together in a single process and get on to the next ring. The amount of time (and aggravation this saves is huge).
Thank you, Jerry Bennett. We segmenters tip our hats to you.

@Lloyd Johnson Indeed! I had the fortune of receiving a Jerry Bennett inspired sled that my brother made and gifted me for Christmas. I can't imagine using another method and seeing repeatable results. Kudo's if you can...

I agree Brett, it is almost like magic using the wedgie sled. I made 3 or 4 experimental turnings in pine when I first got interested in segmented turning a few years ago. I made the requisite sanding jig and cut my segments with my miter saw. The sanding was just a step too far for me so I gave it up until the wedgie sled appeared on the scene. Now its all fun.
