Lloyd, thanks for developing the Stomper and the Longworth Chuck for assembling segmented vessels. I used both to assemble the vessel in the attached photo, which I have also uploaded to the gallery.Goncalo Alves and Movingue.jpg

Chuck,

I sure wish my first segmented bowl looked like yours! Are you sure this is your first?

I look forward to seeing what you dome up with next.

My first segmented bowl was made in 2001 and it was a disaster because the only software at the time was a calculator that drew a single ring and without being able to see multiple rings, I didn't have the rings sized correctly and the bowl came apart. That experience was what made me decide to write Woodturner PRO, though, and so I guess I'm glad that it happened.

Keep up the great work!

Great job Chuck, I've been learning the art of segmenting for 12 years and I'd be proud if I produced a piece as nice as yours.

Simply well done,
Tim

Thanks for the kind words Lloyd. Your products certainly simplified the process. I went through quite a learning process making this one that I can apply to my next project.
