Hope t co pick up a lot of info from the forum. Starting with the question "is there a simple step by step to use this software to design a 3 or 4 basic species bowl"?
This software is obviously great, but my old brain needs a lot of hand holding to get started. thanks Mike
 
Hi Mike.
Welcome to WTP forums.
- First, spend some time looking at the various tutorials. They are a great help.
- Decide which software you are going to use. WoodTurnerPro or Segment Pro.

For me WTP follows the same process one uses when designing on graph paper.
SP automates a lot of the design for you.

Once we know which software you want to use we can provide more direction.
Have you designed and done segment bowls in the past?
