Hello fellow turners. Just signed on with Woodturners and am beginning to wade my way thru the awesome software for making segmented bowls. Please be on look out for some basic questions to help me get going.
I live in Beaumont, TX and am retired. Blessed to have a really nice shop that we do cabinets, furniture, and refurbishing projects as Small Stuff, llc. Looking forward to developing a new “skill set”.

As you will discover WoodTurner Pro gives you full control of each ring. Segment Pro is rules based and automates much of the layout process. In doing so, it limits what rings you can change. SP does have an awesome paint program for laying out designs.

Many of us have found segmenting to be habit forming. Have fun.
