Introducing myself

Hello and happy new year
I'm Marc Sitkin, a woodturner from Cape Cod, MA. I've been turning bowls for about 5 years, and started doing segmented turning about 2 years ago.
I'm a retired advertising photographer, originally from Connecticut, lived inn South Florida for 14 years and retired here on the Cape in 2015. Look forward to learning from the masters. We have a great woodturning club here, with over 70 members. A few of us do segmented work, but because of the Covid-19 virus, we can only get together virtually now. Look forward to participating in the discussion. I have a lot to learn!

and a Happy(ier) New Year.

Yep. CV-19 has stopped my shop visits and turning. Hopefully the vaccine will get things back to somewhat normal by spring/summer.
Looks like you are well on your way since you been doing segmenting for 2 years. imo, the software is top notch for segment turners. I still like WTP which gives full control of the design. SP is great, especially for the paint design capability.
