Hi, am Kim from the East of England. I have been turning for the past 12 years since I retired, and have always admired segmented work. It's finally time to stop looking and have a go myself. I am slowly getting to grips with the software and working on my first effort.

I know where you are from since I drove around England a few times during my Air Force time at Minden Hall AB.

I was very lucky to see a craft fair in Ireland and I forget the place in England but it had a shire in it. Being from the country myself I spent quite a bit of time in the country side talking to folks.

So glad you are here and hope to talk at you more.

Hi Arlin, We have very happy memories if the air shows at both Mildenhall and Bentwaters US air bases. Absolutely brilliant, although quite a lot of work I suspect if you were on the organising side.

Sorry Kim I was not with the Thunderbirds. In the last 5 years of my career I worked with the Army and Marines and other nations. Good to have you here and really hope we can talk more.
