Nice work. Shape is good for a vase.

imo, the black/white checkerboard top takes away from the featured ring. Still overall, great piece.

thanks for the comments, never thought about the checkerboard that way, but a good point. Maybe if the top was a little smaller it wouldn't have had that effect. Off to the next project!

Nice shape,I don't mind the checkerboard top.Trying to imagine it without it and do think it is better than just plain like the bottom.
