Lidded Ornament

Designed using V.3 3Dpro.
This Lidded Ornament was crafted using snow gum and king billy pine. It consists of 547 pieces and is 260 mm x 150 mm approx. While the body was reasonably straight forward the lid required two efforts and a lot of patience!

Another beautiful turning, Bernie.
I can certainly see why the lidded portion of this vessel would have been challenging. There's just not much glue surface area securing those pieces during turning. It is what makes the vessel great, though.
