Hi Bob, I recently purchased Segmentation Pro, Woodturning pro and Lamentation Pro. I have tried to make sense out of them but since I have no experience using anything like this I having trouble getting it together. I have watched some tutorials but they all seem geared to people who have some experience.
    Thank you,
    Doug Wininger

Hi Juansierra, There is a very good write up in Malcolm Tibbetts book "The Art of Segmented Woodturning" on page 161. This what I used when constructing my sunrise ring. If you go with it remember to make extra segments as it is easy to mess up during construction. Good luck. Love to see a picture when you finish.

Did you know I am only 26 days older then you I was born Oct 18, 1960. Also my wife was born Nov 22, 1960. It also seems just like a year ago or so when I was in the bombing in the middle , east and that was March 6, 2008 almost 10 years ago.

Great minds were born in 1960! :)
I've always wondered what the situation was in the bombing. I'm glad you made it through it and thank you for your service my friend!

Yes Arlin, that's me. I go by FrankAtl over there. I've done a little segmenting but am now trying to get more serious about it. I really like this software but am still a novice at it. This is a great forum so glad to see you here!

I've been here around a year or so if memory serves. I've done a little segmenting but am still learning the software. I'm working on a feature ring today that I designed in Lamination Pro. Wish me luck!
