It's time. I started out my hobby in 1987 with a Shopsmith and it served me well. Over the years I've replaced it with all pieces but the lathe. I really need something that turns below 950 rpm, not to mention weight, swing, etc.
Been drooling over Grizzly's GO766.......any advice or other recomendations? Budget is an issue - the 766 comes in at about $1,700 and I can't go above that.
