Different number of open ssegments per layer

Here's what I want to do. On one layer. I want, say 12 pieces seperated by a narrow space. One the next layer, I want 4 longer pieces seperated bythe same spacing. I want to mix it up fro, there on up. The problem is that I can not get the s/w to cooperate. It wants to carry over the spacing/# of pieces from one layer to the next. Can I get WoodTurtner Pro to design this for me?
 
When you click the New Row button, it will create a new row that has the same properties as the row that was selected when you click the button. The diameters of the new row are calculated for the prior two rows as it assumes you want to keep going in the same direction.

Every row can have however many segments of any ring type you like. You can also specify the width of the vertical spacer for every row. There is only one specie you can specify for the vertical spacers, though.

The easiest way to build your vessel is to just add rows without regard to the properties. The select the rows you want to be the same by double-clinking one row to select it and then ctrl-click additional rows to add to that selection. Then change the properties of all the selected rows at the same time. Then repeat this process for all the rows that are to be the same (but different) properties. Once you have done this, click the ProfileSNAP button again. You'll see that this goes very quickly.
