I built this with a Seg Easy Sled and the Segment Stomper with the Longworth chuck. I guess I should have used a laser as a few are off.
I took a picture off of the net and put it into Design Pro and then into Woodturner Pro. There are 20- 3/4" rings of Walnut and Maple and 2 - 1" rings of Bloodwood The finish is Shellawax Cream.

Al, very good joints. I think you might be happier if you had not made it as tall and given it a more rounded shape so the sides do appear so straight. One thing you can do is take a short ruler and run it along the side to determine where it is flat. All in all a very nice piece. Thanks for posting.

I haven't built a segment stomper but the Seg Easy sled almost makes it too easy. I bought an early Longworth chuck from Lloyd years ago.
