• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. Undo and transfers from Laminatorpro to Woodturnerpro

First: My "Undo" command in Woodturner Pro seems to be inactive. If I make a mistake, I have to close the design file I'm in without saving it and start over. Am I missing something?

Second: When exporting a simple three-strip chevron design ring from Laminator Pro v3 to Woodturner Pro, the label below the design window in Laminator Pro said my outside diameter (OD) was 11.14". But when it arrived in Woodturner Pro, it didn't fit in the ring I had created for it - it was all fragmented, with none of the chevron arms meeting at the segment edges. I had to increase the dimension to 13" in order for the design ring to look right. Which diameter do I go with?

Thanks.

Hi Larry,
I removed that calculation from Lamination PRO in version 3.1.008 as it was really out of place in Lamination PRO and was calculated differently than how it is done in WTP. However, the difference was more like a rounding error so I could not explain your difference without seeing it.

The important thing, though, is that the Segment Edge Length of WTP needs to be as close as possible to the Repeating Unit width of Lamination PRO. When they are, the transferred image should paint the segment from edge to edge. Getting these two dimensions to match is trial and error, but by making minor adjustments to the Width of Cut in Lamination PRO should get you there very quickly. It's OK to make the width of the Repeating Unit slightly larger than the Segment Edge Length, but it should never be shorter.

The only undo command in Woodturner PRO is undoing the last 'Paint Segment' command. We did a ton of work on implementing generalized Undo commands, but the closer we got to making it handle all the possible changes, the less reliable it became. Without specifying a time, you will see a fully-functioning Undo command that will let you undo as many as 10 prior commands.
