• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

Hello everyone. I learned woodturning few years ago on my own. Now I am retired, ....and have no time ...;) !, am planning to take few courses with a professional woodturner, here in France. I have other hobbies such as model plane flying, building a susbstantial O gauge train track and decor, music and recently started learning flying airplanes which explains my Mermoz nickname. Am pleased to joined your community. Good day to all of you. Bonne journée !

Hello Robin. Thanks for the welcome. I am an amateur woodturner and I just dicovered the Woodturner Pro site. It's really a good site with plenty of information, tip and tricks. I just have a tough time finding the videos which seems to be all over the place. Have you found the Tornado Part 3 video by any chance ?
By the way, I lived 10 years in Toronto and I took also the canadian citizenship. Good day to you.

Mermoz, there is no part three. Lloyd indicates he is going to put part three out at some point, but he hasn't yet. I followed all the instructions for parts 1 and 2 and made a few of these globes. The process works great

Mermoz,
Having just finished an 18-month consulting job, I am now back to making software tutorials and will be working on a new website that will let me control the structure much more easily. I have been putting all tutorials in the 'Software Tutorials' category of the Forum so if you don't find it there, there isn't one.

I am just working on Part 3 of the Tornado Bowl, but I'm adding a new tutorial before that on how to build the table saw sled that will be used in Part 3. As a teaser, the sled will let you cut up to four segments at a time for either the 18 or 24 segment SegEasy plate using a home-made flip stop for safety and repeatability.

Lloyd , shows many helpful tutorials on his site and watching them will help you with the segmented turnings , you can try a search on you tube for the many types of turning that will give you incite to Lloyds segmented turnings and the segmented plates along with how to build the stomper .
