My very first open segmented woodturning

This little vase is my very first segmentation. I made it from William Smiths book which I bougth for about 7 years ago. You can look at William Smiths turnings at his website www.smithart.us The vare is 54 mm high and contains 319 segments, all 3 mm thick. The Woods are Norwegian Birch and Purpleheart.
