Imbuia and White Pear Vase

The pot has a diameter of 200 mm and a height of 135 mm. It is constructed from two 8-segment stave rings separated by an 8-segment mid-section ring. The dark wood is Imbuia and the light wood is African White Pear. The segments are separated from each other by 5 mm thick White Pear strips capped by a layer of white and black veneer on each side.

Very nice work, Jan. The species selection is great in how you used woods of complimentary colors and grain patterns. You sure have a lot of wonderful woods to choose from in South Africa.
