I had one bird left over from a previous project and just had to do something with it, so made this 8" diameter "plate". "Icarus" seemed an appropriate name for it.

Perhaps it is just personal taste, but I think there is more interest in this piece than your original with the symmetric pattern which I thought was awesome.
Is awesomer is a word?
