AAW & Segmented Woodturners Association

Just curious how many forum members belong to the AAW or the Segmented Woodworkers Association. I have belonged to the AAW in the past but not currently. Maybe comment on your thoughts, benefits or hesitations.

I belonged to AAW but after some ugly business a few years ago requested my membership be canceled. I feel it is a good organization just not something I care to have a membership or be involved in. Segmented Woodturners can't be beat and I have belonged to it every since I learned about it.

I belong to both. Our local turners club requires you be a member of AAW. I think this forum is better than both

Actually it was 6:38 here on the Atlantic coast. Normally up shortly after 5 as my spouse still works.

Have not joined yet. Thinking about it this year.
