• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

Good Evening to all;; Just joined and new to Segmented turning, In fact have not turned one segmented item as yet... My BOSS, has let me purchase the necessary tools to start, so am now purchasing the tools I need to get the job done. I have a Oneway 24-36 lathe, plus a Delta Mini, and a Delta Mid size. I have been turning over 10 years, and wanted to learn the art of segmented turning..

A little about myself. When I worked for a living, I traveled 8 states in the south, selling steel to OEM's and large Machine shops. I retired at age 60, 11 years ago, and haven't hit a lick of paid work since. (AND DON'T PLAN TO).. My hobbies are, FISHING, HUNTING, and Woodwork, but my love is the wood lathe. I have two daughters, eight grand children, and one GREAT GRANDSON.
Most of the Grand Children were or are in sports and we travel all over the country to watch them... One Grand Daughter is a FAST PITCH SOFTBALL Pitcher for the local University. Twin Grandsons play travel baseball, and have since they were 8 years old. (14 now). We have traveled from Florida to the west coast watching them play baseball. My health is not good, I have COPD since 1991, but have learned to live with it.

Looking forward to being a member and letting you teach me how to make segmented turnings....

Welcome to the madness. WTP is a great program that will get you thinking about how to change up designs and make projects. Hope you have lots of time to play here, and remember to post pictures.

Welcome aboard.

You should find WTP a useful tool in design and planning of segmented bowls.

Enjoy.

Welcome Chuck. I have family in Russelville. Good luck with the segmented turnings, it can get addictive.

Steve
