Diamond Feature Ring

Just completed first open segment bowl using Woodturner Pro. The next project I would like to add a diamond feature ring. Are there any programs, videos or advise for cutting the diamonds?

There are many ways to build a diamond featured ring. A google search will provide some of the videos that show how some made diamond featured ring.

You can plan a diamond segment in Lamination Pro. I attached an example LP file.
Basically have a symmetrical lamination board, set the angle so to give enough space between repeating units, and use the slide option on Gen1 cut.
