Howdy Ya'll,
I have been woodturning for a few years and keep learning with each project. I have been looking at some open segmented projects but I don't think I am quite ready for that. My glue joints were very good on my last project and I am now being more meticulous with my cuts and working with a dry fit before applying the glue. I am still having some problems using veneer between rings, maybe I need to have more than one layer to make it more noticeable. I started turning bowls then added pepper mills, pens, coffee scoops, pizza cutters, ice cream scoops and then some segmented projects. I have tried to do some of the projects I have seen on YouTube with varying amounts of success. I do hope the Woodturner Pro will help me to learn to set up my rings in a better manner. I have also ordered the Stomper with the Longworth chuck to help me align the rings in a more exact manner. I don't want to sell my stuff, I am retired you know, so as we travel I give it away to friends and folks we meet along the way. I hope to increase my skills and knowledge with the products and tutorials available here.
