When I was on vacation in Mesa a few years ago the place we stayed at had a woodworking shop that you could join and do projects. They had a number of lathes and I made my first segmented bowl during the time I stayed. I really enjoyed my time in the shop and when I returned home I joined the local woodturning club and have never looked back. When I finally retired I built my dedicated shop in my garage and enjoy my time working on various woodworking projects.

If you have not purchased, you can try the software for 30 days free.

WPT was Lloyds first. It gives full control of each ring.
SP is Lloyds latest. It is rules based and does most of the work for you in the design process.
