A member at the woodclub has made rings out of Corian. They used a good 80 tooth blade to cut the segments.

As far as epoxy resin. I have seen a member make a vessel using the bowl from a board concept. The rings were cut out on a Ringmaster machine rather than a bandsaw. Seemed to work out great. I have not seen anyone mix epoxy resin and poor into a mold for strips. Then cut the resin into segments.

Thanks, I was wondering if I could make the different sizes of wood segments for a bowl then make a mold of them then cast the segments. If so, it would allow for unlimited color selection.

Don't see why not.
Corian is nothing more than acrylic resin. It has been cut into segments and used in bowl making.
