In this view of my bowl you will notice that I have used Corian mixed with the other woods. What a Gamble!! I hope that this bowl never leaves Arizona or it will surely come apar. Willie T.

That's a beautiful bowl, Willie. I do have a question, though - is the birdseye maple row staves or tall flat segments?

LLoyd it is called stave construction. The pieces of birds eye and the burl are assembled together prior to sizing on the sander. The assembly of the staves can get hairy. Willie
