We'll get Mike hooked on this yet!
Great job Glenn, looking good
Nice pattern and colors Glenn really starting to pop.
I turn the outside as I go down to the glue line (knock off the corners) mainly because I've been nicked by them coming around while I'm turning. I hit the top row with sandpaper so it isn't quite as sharp until I get a row on top of it. As long as you don't go into the glued area you don't decrease the strength. You also keep it a little better in balance. Just my thoughts.I know it is advantageous to turn the inside as you go but is there ever a point where you rough turn the outside before the glue up is complete? Even just to smooth the corners?? Just curious.
