• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

    Stomper Station

Hi David, Hope you haven't made the order. Send me your address in TX and I'll put a couple in an envelope and send them to you. Hate to see anyone pay that kind of money for something that Dentists throw away. I Asked Lloyd if I should make a new thread with the pics for anyone else that may...

Chuck. Don't know what happened with mu transmission, but I lost most of it including the pictures. I apologize for the abrupt shut-off First of all, the lion is beautiful. It must have taken quite a bit of time to compose the Intarsia (new word for me). Don't think that I have that kind of...

Copy from my iphone... Chuck, Thank u so much for the detailed response for my request. The photos came out beautifully. I fully understand what u did. Was surprised at the height of the waste block as well as the "small" size of the tape. If I had used the usual amount of tape, I probably...

    Stomper Station

Chuck, Sent you two emails last night in response to your great message from my iPhone. Wasn't sure that was the way to go. Today, on my desk computer, it doesn't appear in the Forum. Will try to copy it here. Also, what is the best way to bring in the photos like you did in your message. Have...

    Stomper Station

Chuck, I too have a dislike of putting a hole inside my project to center the post of the Stomper and have been trying to devise another way to do it. Had a couple ideas, but like your idea the best, including the method you used to remove the waste block from the from the base of the project...

    A couple of questions

Hi again Art, I really got a lot out of William Smith's book. I can only imagine the time and effort into developing the technique he used to do his open segment work. It makes me appreciated the work you did several years ago for turning the various objects you turned. My hats off to you. I...

    My Stomper set up

There is no way that my workshop will ever look like that either. Mine always looks like Hurricane Sandy, like Lloyd says. I don't know how you are able to do that. My wife tries to clean it up and then it takes two weeks to find things that I use every day. With regards to saw dust I wasn't...

    A couple of questions

Thanks Art, I just finished ordering the book. Question: I've not yet found how to place different types of wood in a single ring, using WoodTurner Pro. I can paint a ring with one type of wood, but cannot change an individual segment to another type of wood (color). Any suggestions??? Another...

    Open Segmented Vases

Mr. Oeistein, Did you use graph paper to lay out the design work for the figures on your vases? Would you care to share with us the method you use to create the figures on the vases? I too like the work you did. Thanks, Art

    A couple of questions

Tom, You might do a graphic sketch as well as the software at the same time. Believe it would speed up the learning curve and save you time in the long run. Also make sure you pick the "open segment" choice in starting the software. I learned that one the hard way. Cheers, Art

    A couple of questions

Lloyd & Murry I was having the same problem as Murry in determining the segment length, knowing the outside diameter and the inside diameter and using the 18 segment temp let. When I clicked down on the "Project" in the main menu, I didnt get any of the choices that you mentioned. Do U have any...
