New to Segmented turning

I am recently retired and live in South Australia, wood turning has been a passion of mine for many years and now I can spend as much time as I like to be creative in turning. I hope to be able to produce some great segmented pieces, so with the help of the Wood turner Pro hopefully I can achieve my goals, lets see what happens

Welcome to WTP forum. Australia is still on my bucket list of places to see. As Stuart stated, look at the vids, check out the Seg Easy sled. Also being retired, I find segmented bowl making a great way to spend time. It is frustrating at times, but mostly very enjoyable. Post your questions regarding the software. There are many on the forum who can help out.

You join a LONG list of Australian woodturners that use our software. It is clear that segmented woodturning is a very popular hobby in Australia and I am constantly amazed at the quality of work I see.
My wife and I are very anxious to visit Australia and I think it's about time we settle on a date - hopefully within two years.
