My name is Steve from Michigan. I am new to this forum and wanted to introduce myself. I started turning about 6-8 months ago. Self taught by watching youtube. I use an old lathe I got from my dad (circa 1950's I guessing). I am in love with it. Been turning mostly vases (sold a few of them). I learned how to sharpen, made disc and drum sander attachments for my lathe. I'm using a craftsman table saw made in 1920's I bought at a garage sale. Currently just finishing a wedgie sled by watching the video.
 
Welcome to the group. Sounds like you are well on your way. I think you will find Lloyd's programs a big help and you will find all kinds of help here.
