I recently purchased a 48 segment Segeasy Plate for use with the Stomper. When I place my segments on the plate I get an oval shaped ring instead of round. I have tried moving the segments around on the plate to see if it had something to do with the S.E.L. of my segments and I found a couple of segments that had a slightly different S.E.L. so I cut replacements for them. That didn't solve the problem with the oval shaped ring. Should I expect to have round rings using this method or is it not possible for a Segeasy plate to be made with tight enough tolerance to get round rings? The bottom of my vessel is a freshly turned solid piece of wood the same size as the O.D. of the first ring is supposed to be. I took some measurements of the diameter of the ring and it is .2 inches out of round.
