• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

This is my third segmented project. Designed with the new software, I think the first "pre-release" version. 436 pieces (not including the screw ups!). Final shaping and sanding yet to come. No catches allowed! I was thinking o f capping this with a solid walnut ring- any ideas on that?

It looks good but I'm with Glenn and like the balance of having the top and bottom the same. The finish will make the wood difference pop.

I agree. I have plenty of surface area on the top ring to add a ring of walunt. I'll add that in the next day or so.

So the consensus is to add a top ring of Walnut? So say we all?
Then I shall make it so!

(anyone get the sci-fi reference?)

IMG_0095.JPG IMG_0094.JPG Done! Well, maybe not. Two coats of Danish Oil. I am wondering if this should be a gloss, or keep it satin?
Thanks everyone for the suggestion of the walnut top ring. It balances the piece. 9 inches tall, 9 3/4 diameter, 4 inch at base.
This can be addictive! I may have to turn a few pens to bring me back down....

At the top of the page is a tab "Gallery" go there, then there is a red tab in the upper right hand corner. Add media. Then just follow the instructions. If you have a problem just let us know

Chris, Nice looking vase. I prefer satin on most open bowls and vases like this with more of a gloss on closed hollow forms.

Great completed project vase. Like the pattern, and alignment of segments.

One you should be proud of.
