• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

Status Bar Info

Just started using .006 Lamination Pro. Noticed that Status bar information doesn't show up on the Print review or the printed copy. I usually print a copy and take to the shop.

Are you referring to the bar where board width, board length is shown?

If so, mine doesn't show it either. I generally just print out the sheet and pencil in the material length needed.

I don't recollect that the status bar information ever made it's way to the printout but it certainly can be added. I've put it on my feature request list and once I get Segment PRO to be Post Release, I'll make some time to work on this.

What great service. Only if other software designers were so supporting in taking suggestions and improving their products.

I spread the word to anyone who will listen at the SCW woodshop.

You'll be glad to know that I've added the species names to both Paint and Storyboard so as you can see, Pay for Play works for me.
I'm also looking at two different alternatives for writing segment numbers around the segments. This is a FAR more difficult proposition, though. I'm definitely moving this one up to a dime.

WELL if that's the case.........let me think of something really wild for you to change ifyour looking for a challenge. See if we can fine a 15 cent one

I believe I need to work on my pricing model. In the spirit of the new Price Quote system, I believe it will be x dollars per keystroke, x dollars per minute thinking about it and x dollars for ever minute of missed sleep.
I've recalculated your bill and it is now $12,640 and 35 cents.

I'm glad to see a sense of humour despite all the work and sleepless nights. Are these extra .05, .10 and maybe .15 cents considered a consult fee for all these great ideas the end users are providing?

Glenn I think you have it backwards. I'm thinking Lloyd is thinking these are up charges to us for him to make our requested changes??

I think I'm going to need some help with my bill at $12,640 and 35 cents. I'm thinking that's a lot of bowl making!!:p

Just increase the number of segments and increase the species of wood and then it should only be about 10-12 bowls ( of about 1500 segments each). What a deal!

I like the way you think Glenn, all except the part about me paying for new ideas and bug reports. I don't think I like that idea much. However, the people that help me at this time will not be forgotten. In fact, I'm going to give you, Bob, $12,640 to pay your bill. When's the last time you've been given that much money?
You still owe me 35 cents, though.

In Canada we would have to report that on our Income Tax at the end of the year, hate to be you Bob! Trump may like all that inspiration and cut you a deal.
