• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

Collaborative Bowl Project - Closed Segment

Yes, I've bought tools from Thompson Tools and made some interchangeable handles for them. This will be a little differnet with the square tangs. Most likely will make dedicated handle for them.

So as I said in a previous post "Today is turning day"

Here is where my day started.

I had a movie to insert here but it will not work on this platform I guess.

Anyway............it has been parted off and the bottom was finished.

The Minwax Antique Oil was applied.

All that is left is to re-sand with 600 grit and then re-apply the oil probably 3 more times.

I will post a staged picture once it is complete.

Good job. Lloyd might know how your video can be added. Do you have your next project laid out yet? If so start a new thread and let us follow along with you.

Thanks everyone for all your comments and suggestions. It was a fun project and I certainly want to try another. If anyone has a plan or a piece designed and are willing to share............... Just saying!

Next project, well I'm not sure how plausible it is but one of Bob's pictures from the Symposium had a picture of a "Snow Couple" by Ray Feltz that my wife absolutely loved. The two pieces had 5000 pieces. I have been emailing with Ray and he is going to give me some info. The smallest piece has a segment width of .09. I think I will try cutting a few of them to see if I can even find them after the saw blade is finished blowing them away.

Sent you the contents of a cd Ray handed out at the symposium. Just helping a friend in the deep end

Glenn great to hear. He said at the symposium to make sure you STIR it up before using it the additive will settle out and just shaing will not do it. It is quite a bit thinner than Titiebond II but at least you know have some to try. Good for you.

Bob:
Good tip on TBIII. I have used one bottle and found it to be ok. I was not aware of the stirring instead of shaking before using.
