Is it possible to move the segments in a row, in other words rotate the ring, to line up with adjacent rows rather than the brick style default?
There is no mechanism to rotate one ring to align to get rid of the brick pattern. However, there is a work around in WTP.Is it possible to move the segments in a row, in other words rotate the ring, to line up with adjacent rows rather than the brick style default?
interesting take. I can see that may work with rings of one species. Not sure how that would work if you were "painting" a design with multiple species. On a semi-related note, I discovered something. We have to be very careful to line the segments up when using the brick pattern when building the real piece but I try to find ways to avoid the 'very careful' requirement. It turns out that staggering the joints by 1/3 instead of 1/2 fixes that as long as you are 'very careful' to stagger in the same direction consistently. Apparently I was only partially successful.
I have not heard of any release date for an SP update. Lloyd will have to let us know.At the end of March Lloyd said he was working on an update that will allow us to do this in SP. Any idea when it will be released?
