Hello all.
Apologies in advance if I'm not posting this in the correct thread. A small bit of background info before I ask my favor/question: While I do closed segmenting for my basket illusion work, I readily admit that I am very limited in my knowledge or experience with segmenting. I'm also not very well versed in knowing who's who in the world of turning, especially specialized turning like open segment turning. Having said that... I'm the program manager for my local turning club so I'm not completely oblivious to "named turners" (LOL) but I'd never consider myself "in the know" either.
Now my ask: Can anyone suggest an Open Segment Turner who has experience doing remote demos for turning clubs? I'd like to get our club members more exposure to the world of segment turning and I believe it would be a great session for my group. It would be a paid demo, of course. Just need some leads on people who have experience demoing the concept as a whole - the design/planning, tools/jigs needed, assembly, turning tips/tricks and finishing. Pre-recorded portions of the process would be appropriate considering no club member would sit through a 2 week demo.
Does anyone have any good leads for me or have experience demoing and would be interested in doing a remote demo?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions
