I am a 80 year old who has made many segmented pieces. Just purchased the software and looking forward to learning it. I have used Solid Works as a designer, so I don't believe the learning curve will be too steep, but with the age factor, we'll see.

I think you will find the software easy to use.
Segment Pro does most of the work for you. Because it uses some rules it limits what you can do to individual rings.

WTP gives you full control of each ring. In doing so one has to do more of the work in the design. WTP works with 3DDesignPro, which makes the vessel profile.
