• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

Survivor ribbon as feature ring on a vase

Hi Lloyd,

I would like to create a Survivor Ribbon Vase on either an open-segmented or closed segmented vase/bowl. Maybe one of each to see how it looks. My wife volunteers for the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure and I think this would make a great present for suvivors. I need a little help,( ok a lot of help) with the design. I would like the vase or bowl to be about 8 to 10 inches high. I have seen one on Capt Eddie's site at "Big Guy Productions" which looks very interesting. I'm not real great with using Woodturnerpro software and just maybe this project may be a little over my head but I have to start some where and why not with a project that has a lot of meaning to so many people. So if any one has some ideas they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all in advance, Augie

Augie,

A member posed a similar question some time back and I had a suggestion of something that could be done, but I have not yet tried it. You can see my suggestions and a couple screen shots at the end of this thread:

I've looked at doing something like this with an open segment pattern, but unless you get upward of 40-50 segments per row, it's hard to make a pattern that would look like the cancer ribbon.
