• Having problems with video with Segment PRO on a new PC? You could be experiencing one (or both) of two problems. First, if you have an ultra high-resolution screen, the recommended settings might be higher than 1920 x 1080 with a scale factor of more than 100% and the user interfaces for all software written in c# will NOT be correct. Simply change the resolution and scaling to 1920 x 1080 and scale to 100%. Second, if you have a wonky Bowl View, you have an Intel Iris graphics solution and there are serious problems with it. Solution - go to the Drivers page at Intel's website and install their latest driver for your computer. This will fix it. Link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download-center/home.html

Error when saving file

I removed the app using the Windows removal tool
I also removed all reference to "designpro" in the registry using regedit.
I reinstalled 3D DesignPro.
I started 3DDP created a new file and saved it.
Closed 3DDP.
Reopened 3DDP and tried to retrieve from Recent File list.

Sorry to say the same error occurred.

Sorry you are still having issues. What is strange is have not had the issues like you have been having with 3DDP.
Questions:
- did you download a new 3DDP install file from this website or use an older saved copy?
- Can you open the file if you go to File/Open instead of using the recent file list?
- Are the provided example files still causing issues?

- Was there a point in time that 3DDP worked for you and the problems developed more recently? Reason I am asking is if anything changed with your PC that might be causing the issue.

Attached is a file I modified/saved and could open with no problem. Does it open for you.

If you are still having issues I would contact Lloyd. I am out of ideas if you are.

Used an older version for installation
No it will not open using File/Open
Some open, some do not - some that open once will not a 2nd time

Yes it did work as expected for quite a while.

My own experience: Software works, then MS does an updated with a changed DLL file. The software doesn't work. We recompile and it works again.

The file you sent does not open.

Hi Jay.
Sorry you are still having issues. The current version of 3DPP is 3.1.09
- Uninstall and then download 3DPP from the download page at
and install using a fresh up to date file.

If that does not correct the problem it would be for someone with more programing experience than me. Based on what you posted I am starting to think it is more of a hardware/Microsoft update problem than 3DPP. Reason I say that is because my older laptop running Windows 10 has not had the issue you are experiencing with 3DPP.

Hope it works out for you.

Hi Jay:
Thanks for posting the test file. 3dp.

- Download was successful
- Opening the test file was successful.
- saved the test file, no issue
- Did a save as "test file no mods" with no issue.
- Deleted two nodes, moved nodes, saved file different name, no issues.
- Closed 3DDP. Opened"test file mod" by going to file/open/download/test file mod. No issue
- Did a File , clicked on "test file" from the numbered list., No issue

Did you download a fresh copy of 3DDP from this site? If so, did it correct your issues./

I am starting to think there is an issue with your pc and not the software. My laptop is an older laptop running Windows 10. It has been kept up to date with all of the Microsoft updates. No issues with WTP software.
