• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

Making a segmented stool seat

If you have WoodTurnerPro, I would use it. I take it the seat would be just one ring(disk) made up of X number of segments.
You can use SP, imo WTP would be easier.

In SP the minimum thickness is 2 inches.
The number of rows SP will calculate will depend on how thick you set the row thickness.
Just set up your bowl settings and draw your profile.

WTP gives you complete control of each ring. SP does not.
In WTP you can change the default row 1 disk to flat (segment).
If needed, you can add additional rings for the edge of the seat.
