• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

The segment pro tutorials talk more about the other softwares, and less about segment pro. I have the complete suite.
Also is there a list of keyboard commands for woodturner pro?
 
Yes, there is a list of keyboard commands for WTP.
- In WTP click on the Help, Keyboard Help.
a pop up window will have the list.

I found the SP vids to be informative. Yes, sometimes there is a comparison to WTP.
Things to keep in mind with SP:
- It is rules based. As such you do not have as much control to each ring as you do in WTP.
- If you select Featured Ring, SP will put the featured ring at the widest part of the vessel.
- If you want full control of each ring, use WTP.
- In SP if you paint a design and then change the number of segments per ring. The summary sheet will not be accurate.

imo, Lloyd has some of the best software for planning a segmented vessel. Beats the heck out of doing it on graph paper.

There was a time when software companies made printed user manuals. They seldom got read and they quickly went out of date and they were terribly expensive to create and maintain. I also made these manuals. Thankfully, streaming video made it possible to make video tutorials and there haven’t been any manuals made in over 10 years.

However, Woodturner PRO and Lamination PRO both have User Manuals in them. Yes, they are 10 years old and no longer match the user interface, but I have left them in the software because they are full of very helpful information about segmenting and multi-generation laminations and they still correctly talk about how the software works.

To get to them, click the Help menu and then click the item at the top of the list.

There are also limited video tutorials if you to to the Forum > Video Tutorials > Software and then click the forum for either Woodturner PRO or Lamination PRO.
