I'm sorry, this is not what the forum is for but I made the mistake in buying a Hammer A3-41 planner / jointer from Felder US. Big mistake! Do not buy from Felder!! You will regret it!!
I'm curious if any of the members would know a link or email address to Felder corporate? I've searched the web but can only get to Linkedin for Austra.
The machine was sent broken and unusable. I have been sending emails, photos, and leaving voicemails with Felder, with little or no response.
Its been a month now, and I'm at my wits end. I'm hoping someone in the forum might have a contact.

Hi Stevie. Felder is a big company with expensive high end tools. I can't explain why there is absolutely no customer support with this company. Or how they have remained in business. This was my first purchase with Felder, and it will be my last! I purchased a Hammer A3-41 planer. When it was delivered a plastic molding was cracked and the piece of sheet metal showing the table height was bent. It looked liked minor damage. The machine came with a 2x4 structure with supports on a pallet. There were no marks or damage to the 2x4's. All the joints were perfect with the structure, however after I removed all the wood framing and lifted the planer beds, I found that the planer had been tipped over at some point causing damage and breaking components under the planer beds. I confirmed this by putting a straightedge on the body of the machine. It was bent a quarter inch in.
An 800Lb. machine tips over and leaves no marks on the wood! " I need to find some of this stuff for my turning!" The machines 2x4 frame was replaced and shipped to me. The planer is un-serviceable and needs to be replaced. I have repeatable called and left voicemails, emails, and sent pictures. My last email to the salesperson handling my case " Customer support is the sales staff" was on March 3rd. asking again if Felder plans to replace the machine. Tomorrow will be another week of no reply.
It is my salespersons opinion at Felder that I need to take the blame for excepting the broken machine.
I called Felder when the machine was delivered. No response. I had the driver write the minor damage on the receipt. I took pictures and emailed them.
This all started on February 2nd. it is now March 9th. To this date I still have no idea what Felder is doing! I have repeatably asked what is going on and all they tell me is that it's a process and it takes a long time.
I hope this answers the question of their support, or if anyone should purchase a product from Felder . I'm sure if you had a million dollar company they would have your back. I should of bought a Powermatic!!

Felder update.

It's now April 4th. Still no resolve from Felder. I still have the damaged Hammer A3-41 planer I purchased on the pallet in the middle of my shop. Nobody from Felder has even asked to look at the damaged machine! I was asked to take it apart and send pictures.
DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM FELDER!!
I'm not going to write anything more about my purchase after this, however this purchase is the worst transaction or purchase I've ever had with any company in my life. And I'm almost sixty. Absolutely no customer service! Supervisors are no help at all, nor do they give a rat’s behind.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from Felder. I never thought I would need to go to court over purchasing a new machine. They deliver you a broken product and tell you that it's your fault for excepting it from the trucking company.
$6500.00 for a brand new broken piece of junk taking up space in my shop.
IT’S JUST MY OPINION, BUT I THINK FELDER STINKS!!!
I'm hoping this information will help one of the members in the forum If you are thinking about buying a Felder machine, think again. Don't believe the payed for "you-tube videos" like I did. Thanks,

Hopefully you did notify them within 5 days in writing.
Last few thoughts:
- Contact one of your local tv news consumer advocates. Get them involved.
- If you paid by credit card. Contact the CC company and ask them to decline payment and why
- get a lawyer.

Thanks for your reply. I must say that everyone on this forum has been great!
Felder gives you contact phone numbers to call if the item is damaged, however nobody answers those phone numbers. So I did email them the day it arrived. I never thought about contacting a news agency, good advise. Small claims court is now up to $10,000.00 so I'll be going that route.
Any-who, thanks again! And stay away from Felder!
