help with segmented pro

I have turned more then a few closed segmented bowl and now I have decided to try an open segment bowl. I opened up a profile
that I liked and painted it. Very simple design, 24 segments. Want something simple for the first time. Heaven know nothing bad ever happened
the 1st time doing something new right. Any way started cutting segments and opened up the ring view. The ring view shows that row 3
for example show 12 maple and 12 cherry, the summary shows 8 maple and 16 cherry. I am attaching a snip it of the summary and the ring.
Can someone tell me what I did wrong? I am not sure what I did. Thanks

Appreciate the screen shots.
By any chance did you change the number of segments after you painted the segments?

I would suggest you delete the plan. restart SP, redo the project and see if the issue is still there.
One you set the number of segments in Bowl Settings don't change the number if you have painted any segments in Paint.
The software will get confused.

If the SP is still giving bad results please save your plan. Then do a Share / Export. That will create a *.json file in your My Segment Pro folder.
Attach the json file. That way we can take a look at the project and see exactly what you have. It helps in figuring things out.

As a matter of I did. Made a painted bowl with 48 segments and decided that I should do a 24 segment to start with. Thank you for your reply.
I need to get better with the program. I really like it but seem to get to fast with things some times. Again, thanks.

Your welcome.

I have done the same thing in the past. Lloyd pointed out my error. It makes sense when you look at it from a database point of view.

Have fun. Post your project when your done.
