• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

I upgraded my segment cutting facility.

Up until a few days ago, my segment cutting was done with my special custom 1 fat person powered segment cutting jig.

i read a bunch on here and thought I should try power saw segment cutting, so I made a new jig.

it works well, surprisingly so.

I might be a convert.

You might want to make a zero clearance drop off for it, so the piece falls away from the blade, less likely to get kicked away. You can see the style on my table saw wedgie setup.

I have cut a strip to do that, haven’t actually installed it yet.

On the test cuts I have been doing there has been no kickback on the small pieces. The wedge portion is 3/4”, and the drop off is 6.5 inches wide to the 1/2” pieces I have put on either side of the mitre track.

I think the test will be when I go to cut workpieces that are longer and will see if they possibly kick up.

All experimenting and learning!
