Main body of the Bowl is made from Butternut with Katalox trim. Design band is constructed from maple, bloodwood and walnut with katalox borders.

This is a great turning, John. Your diamonds turned out perfectly and the shape is very pleasing. One thing you might consider is to have the wall profile continue through the base ring. A judge would tell you that altering the profile for the base draws attention to it and away from the vase. You get to be your own judge, though.
