• I'm pleased to announce the release of Turbo Segment PRO, a major upgrade to Segment PRO. It's been a very big effort but I'm pleased to tell you that this is a FREE UPGRADE to all current users of Legacy Segment PRO. There are all new video tutorials and they are in the same place as they were: Video Tutorials > Software > Turbo Segment PRO. There you will find an Introduction tutorial that will tell you about its substantial new features. To install Turbo, just go to the Downloads page of the website and click on the Turbo Installer which will upgrade Legacy to Turbo.

Open Segmented vessel 9" x 9.5", 48 segments per row for open, 24 for the closed segments.
Woods used: Bloodwood, Canarywood, Cherry, Leopardwood, Mahogany, Maple, Purpleheart, Sapele, Tarara, Walnut, Wenge and Yellowheart. The floating base and rim are made from Granadillo.

Lost in the woods is the percent name for this and it perfectly reflects the chaos we live every day. It’s a perfect way to use up stock in your shop to build a bowl that has a meaning and that meaning is: “I don’t need no stinkin’ meaning.”

Congratulations on expressing what most of us feel, but have not been willing (or able) to say.

Each piece was randomly selected to be glued on. I just grabbed a handful out of the pile for that row and glued. Even in doing it this way, you can still see scattered throughout, the same wood(s) next to each other and above or below. To me, this just shows that some thoughts last longer than others.

And that's my story :)
